The darkness is simply asking for our intimate embrace,

the grace of our hearts to invite it home.

As we make our contribution of woes, sorrows, and grief,

We ensure the imminent blessings of the joy that’s sure to come;

The sun that’s sure to shine,

The age that’s sure to dawn.
